OAKLEY

For 18 days, between April 24th - May 10th 2015, photographers, artists, filmmakers, skaters and social influencers within the world of skate were brought together to take up “Residence” in The Studio by Oakley. Oakley's goal was to connect with LA's thriving skate community and provide a space for artists and skaters to create skate + LA centered content.

The dFm collaborated with Oakley to bring the concept to life, spread awareness among an influencer audience and generate press + social media throughout the duration of the program.

Influencer Engagement

Who: Atiba + Ako of The Blackouts, professional skateboarders Ryan Sheckler, Curren Caples, Sean Malto, Leticia Bufoni, Ben Nordberg, snowboarder Luke “The Dingo” Trembath, along with famed photographer Henrik Puri-enne, Andrea DoSouto, Brooke Nipar, and Mark “The Cobrasnake” Hunter.

 
 
 
 

Experiential

Eight artists were paired with each location to design a flag and a skate deck representing their spot. Featured Art Dumpers asso-ciated with the project include Andy Jenkins, Andy Mueller, Jeremy Carna-han, Eric Anthony, Chris Waycott, Carlos Gutierrez, Nate Hooper and Nick Zegel. The one-of-a-kind skate deck artwork on display was auctioned off at Oakley.com/inresidence to benefit non-profit Bridge to Skate
